About Us
Swayzee, Indiana, is a friendly town in northeast Indiana with easy access to Kokomo to the west and Marion to the east. Lying along Indiana SR 13 near its junction with U.S. Route 35, Swayzee is conveniently situated within an hour of both Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. The Swayzee EDC
Informally launched in February 2023 by a group of citizens who wanted to assist the town board in improving the community, the Swayzee Economic Development Corporation (EDC) was founded to encourage Swayzee’s economic and community development through the retention, expansion, and attraction of local businesses.
The Swayzee EDC was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in August 2023, making us eligible for a large number of public and private grants. Our members meet monthly in the Swayzee Town Hall, and we are currently working to identify grants and development programs that are right for our town.
